The Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada (APF Canada), in partnership with Universities Canada, invite you to join us for the Canada-in-Asia Conference 2025 (CIAC2025), which will be held between February 19 and 21, 2025 in Singapore.
Plenary sessions
CIAC2025 features four key plenary sessions that bring together all conference participants. They address important themes and ideas in the Canada-Asia relationship, along with pressing global challenges like geopolitics, the renewed space race, sustainable investment and infrastructure development.
Concurrent sessions, sectors & engagement tracks
CIAC2025 features four concurrent session blocks organized by sector or engagement track. These key areas for collaboration between Canada-based and Asia-based firms, researchers and institutions were identified after consulting with stakeholders. For those interested in cross-sector themes, engagement tracks offer an alternative pathway to engage.
About the conference
The annual Canada-in-Asia Conference (CIAC) serves as a platform for engagement among Canada-based and Asia-based companies, institutions, universities and governments. It brings together business leaders, experts, investors, policy-makers, researchers and innovators to exchange ideas and foster partnerships. With plenary and concurrent sessions, as well as dedicated networking opportunities, 700 attendees from across Asia and Canada can connect with like-minded partners.
The vision for CIAC2025 is to address some of today’s most pressing global challenges and ideas, such as AI, ocean technology, the blue economy, innovative ecosystems, energy security and clean technology. This enthusiasm for sustained momentum in connecting Canada and Asia has led to a commitment by APF Canada and Universities Canada to convene a major multi-sector Canada-in-Asia Conference every second year, and more targeted, thematic CIACs in intervening years.
