Universities Canada’s Research Collaboration Event

This event aims to strengthen research collaborations between Canadian and European institutions. Taking place alongside the European Association for International Education (EAIE) Conference from September 17 to 20, this gathering offers a unique chance for our members to explore best practices, engage with influential stakeholders and build meaningful partnerships with European institutions.

The event will include a research collaboration discussion focused on opportunities within the Horizon Europe framework, followed by a networking reception where university presidents, vice-presidents of research and key stakeholders from France and Europe can connect and engage. The program will feature senior officials and key decision-makers who will provide insights into Horizon Europe and share information for accessing this funding opportunity.

Information Session: Practical guidance on accessing Horizon Europe initiatives and forging robust partnerships in Europe.

The session aims to provide insights into the Horizon Europe framework, highlighting funding opportunities and key thematic areas, while equipping participants with the knowledge and tools to enhance research collaboration with European partners. It will also showcase existing collaboration projects between Canada and France and explore new opportunities for future partnerships.

By sharing strategies for enhancing collaboration and maximizing access to Horizon Europe funding, the session will offer insights into effective approaches that have led to successful research partnerships and strengthened international cooperation.
