OTTAWA—UniversityStudy.ca, a longstanding resource for information on Canadian universities, has relaunched its platform to help prospective students make informed decisions about their post-secondary education. The fully refreshed website offers a free, bilingual service for students to access up-to-date and verified information on programs across Canada—without requiring any fees or personal data.

With over 30 years of collaboration with Canada’s universities, UniversityStudy.ca has served high school students, adult learners and international students by providing an accessible and trustworthy platform for discovering educational opportunities. The recent update introduces a new scholarships database, designed to connect students with financial support options, as well as an in-depth resource center covering all facets of university life, from application processes, residence options to graduation preparation.

“We’re thrilled to offer an expanded UniversityStudy.ca platform that goes beyond program listings to include tools that simplify the search for financial support and other resources vital to student success,” said Gabriel Miller, President and CEO of Universities Canada. “Our mission is to help every student, regardless of background, explore, envision, and plan their academic journey successfully.”

With its user-friendly interface, UniversityStudy.ca offers students an efficient way to explore and compare programs at Canada’s leading universities. The site’s new features reflect its commitment to supporting Canada’s next generation of learners by providing essential tools that allow them to embark on their educational path and achieve their academic and career aspirations. The redevelopment of UniversityStudy.ca is generously supported by RBC through its Future Launch Program.

Testimonials:

“When I first saw this website, I felt a bit emotional because it’s a reliable resource I wish I’d had back in high school when deciding on a university and program.”  Nana Boncano Haidara, Communications student, University of Ottawa

“If I had been lucky enough to have a resource like UniversityStudy.ca, my research would have been much faster and more efficient. I hope that this site will not only be available to all, but that institutions such as CEGEPs will ensure that students who are starting their research are aware of the existence of the resource.” Mégane Fleury 3rd year Business Administration student, UQTR

“At Trent, we offer wrap-around supports and services that guide students academically, financially, and socially, to ensure their health and well-being. Ensuring students are familiar with these resources and comfortable seeking support is also crucial. Platforms like UniversityStudy.ca that promote and amplify campus resources will help prospective students start their postsecondary journey on the right track and help them be more confident in their capabilities and realizing their plans for the future.” Lawrence Lam, AVP of Students, Trent University
