4 gold medals, 4 honourable mentions for excellence in editorial and art direction
OTTAWA – Universities Canada is pleased to announce that University Affairs, its award-winning national magazine on higher education, took home four gold medals at the 62nd Canadian Business Media Awards.
University Affairs captured gold for Best Issue, Best Cover, Best Photograph and Best Art Direction of an Opening Spread or Complete Feature. University Affairs also received four honourable mentions in the categories of Best News Coverage, Best Feature Article – Professional, Best Media Brand and Best Art Direction for a Complete Issue.
“We are very pleased to see University Affairs honoured for its continuing editorial and design excellence,” says Paul Davidson, president of Universities Canada. “We are proud to publish the pre-eminent magazine for the university community in Canada.”
The Canadian Business Media Awards recognize excellence in Canada’s business-to-business media. The 2016 awards were presented in Toronto last night. This year’s competition drew 141 submissions from 36 media outlets.
