University leaders from Canada, the U.S. and Asia discussed the future or the liberal arts and how it matters to our collective future at a two-day workshop, held in March 2016. Trends include the increasing role of technology in liberal arts; enhancing equity and inclusion; and new approaches that build in entrepreneurship and management skills as part of the learning experience.
