Global Skills Opportunity (GSO) is Canada’s first and only national outbound student mobility program, providing a framework for the delivery of skill-based international work and study experiences to thousands of Canadian post-secondary students.
GSO’s funding through Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) is only assured until March 2025. It is crucial that Canada continues to equip Canadian students with the essential skills required to thrive in a rapidly changing labour market, while also enhancing Canada’s competitiveness, boosting its productivity and deepening global ties.
Let’s renew GSO beyond March 2025 and support students in building global skills for a strong, prosperous and resilient Canada.
