IDeA student competition: Changing mindsets on accessibility

Biarki Hallgrimsson, director of the School of Industrial Design at Carleton University, believes that making Canadian communities more accessible starts with educating our future leaders across sectors – from engineers to architects to policy makers. He views the IDeA program as an opportunity to change the mindsets of student competitors and raise awareness about the importance of accessibility in Canada.
